VTE has become PSA Genova Pra’
VTE has changed its name in PSA Genova Pra’ a rebranding that forms an even stronger bond with the territory.
The new brand was presented at a press conference in the presence of local institutions. “It seems natural to identify the terminal with Pra’,” commented the managing director of PSA Italy Gilberto Danesi. “It is a request of the local residents. The name VTE will disappear; we will have to do a complete rebranding; and the only one that will remain is PSA Genova Pra’. In recent years we have done a lot to move closer to the city: as a terminal we have moved to using electric vehicles so that pollution and noise are reduced to a minimum.”

The mayor of Genoa, Marco Bucci, highlighted the important teamwork between the terminal and the city, “We must recognize that there are companies that provide jobs for the city and create economy for Pra’. The fact that this company has decided to take the name of Pra’ is a wonderful and important thing that sends a clear message of how the port and city must work together. It is clear that in the last two years, the port and the city have worked together a lot, much more than they did in the past.”
The new PSA Genova Pra’ brand, therefore, marks a new phase for the terminal and for the entire territory. Investments in recent years, around 250 million euros, have brought Genoa back to the center of global transport routes. This name change officially recognizes this lasting bond.
