During the month of September 2016 the PSA Voltri-Pra Terminal moved 130,587 TEU, registering a new record of traffic through the Terminal. The previous record dated back to March of this year with 118,100 TEU.

The new record was obtained thanks to the continuous support received from all the customers of the Terminal, as well as the contribution of the four new ZPMC quay cranes, which began service on June 1st 2016.

Encouraged by these excellent results, and awaiting the next four quay cranes to arrive at Voltri–Pra, the Terminal is preparing itself for the next stage of the expansion project that began in 2015. Starting from the first few months of 2017 the Terminal will be ready to operate the latest generation of container ships up to 20,000 TEU without any limitations.
