Just over two years have passed since the first direct train ran between Genova and Switzerland and today, we celebrate the 500th train. After the record movement in March, rail freight confirms itself at the centre of PSA strategy at Genova.

When we launched this project in 2018, few people would have bet on its success, yet, despite the problems, we continued to believe in the possibility of creating an innovative, fast and sustainable service for our clients and partners. Today, we wish to thank those who came on this journey with us, because thanks to their trust we have reached the target of 500 trains.

We have continued our efforts in these two years. The service continues to improve and today over 84% of trains arrives within an hour of the expected time, and 94% within two hours. Moreover, from the beginning of 2021, we have opened an office in Basel which means we are even closer to our clients.
