The new electric quay cranes that arrived at the Terminal last September are by now operational. The electrification work in the service area was carried out as planned, allowing for this important innovation.

The new electric cranes have numerous benefits. The main ones include better operational efficiency, better safety, lower carbon emissions and less noise. In total, there are 31 quay cranes, 21 electric and 10 traditional, at the Voltri-Prà Terminal.
