To guarantee the safety of truck drivers and external workers that access our terminal every day, in April PSA Genova Pra’ adopted a series of “best practices” integrated with mandatory regulations to combat the spread of COVID-19 in places of work.

On April 2, the virtual ticket was activated. The innovative access system is based on reservations made through the Office of Goods. The virtual ticket allows truck drivers to remain in their vehicles until the system notifies them that they can go to the help desk.

The ticket can be requested two ways:

• Through the “PSA Genova Pra’ Trasportatori” smartphone app (available for free on Apple Store and Google Play).
• By sending a text with the word “MERCI” to the number +39 3316166446.

We are happy to note that the majority of truck drivers use the app regularly, helping to improve safety standards for everyone.

Another best practice is the creation of a defined and well-marked path that, with the help of terminal staff, allows PSA GP locals to access while fully respecting the safety distance.
